A lot of things. They want to either Harrow us or give us phylacteries, and if Rifters can't be Harrowed, well, how convenient, we all get phylacteries. They want to tie our fates to the mages, so that if they go back to Circles when all this is over we do too. They want to make lists of all of us and our abilities for them to have access to.

That's just the stuff I loathe, not to mention all the stuff I merely dislike.
